About
Bethany Reynolds is an eleven-year-old classical pianist and composer.
She studies piano with Siu Chui Li and composition with Leon Haxby. She is also a member of Procorda, the National School for Chamber Music, and the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.
Bethany has achieved success in several piano and composition competitions. She has won Gold at the UK Schools’ Music Festival and, more recently, the CCMF Trophy for Outstanding Performance on Piano at the Cambridge Community Music Festival.
Bethany has performed at a variety of venues, including Saffron Hall, the Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall and the 1901 Arts Club. Her performance highlights include performing a Debussy duet with Tom Poster in September 2025. She was also selected as a Young Musician Spotlight at the Roman River Festival in both 2024 and 2025, performing in concerts featuring Tom Poster and Ariel Lanyi. She gave her first solo recital in March 2025, aged 10.
Most recently, in July 2026, aged 11, Bethany performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 17 in G major, K.453, in full with the St Botolph’s Orchestra.
Bethany has also taken part in masterclasses and received guidance from Tom Poster, Alex Redington, Norma Fisher, Tessa Nicholson and Gülsin Onay.
